Strategy & Operations Manager - AI

Savvy•New York, NY
•$130,000 - $140,000•Onsite

About The Position

Savvy Wealth is hiring an AI Strategy & Ops Manager to join its Platform Services team. This hands-on, cross-functional role supports the operating rhythm and planning that keep Platform Services on track and leads projects across the business. The work is execution-focused, using data, AI tools, and sound judgment to improve efficiency and turn ideas into results. Projects may include quarterly planning, capacity modeling, and redesigning workflows for the Advisor Success team. The role offers exposure to operations, client servicing, finance, and product. The successful candidate will help Savvy expand capacity through systems and automation rather than relying on headcount alone. The position reports to the Sr. AI Strategy & Ops Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or another high-ownership setting involving multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving with minimal oversight and follow through on details.
  • Structured, analytical problem-solving skills, including comfort with imperfect information and the ability to turn messy inputs into clear recommendations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write concise documents and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, or automation tools, to speed up research, analysis, and workflows.
  • Strong spreadsheet and modeling skills.
  • High ownership and low ego, with a willingness to take responsibility and prioritize outcomes over credit.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to wealth management or financial services operations.
  • Experience building or improving standard operating procedures, process documentation, or enablement materials for frontline or client-facing teams.

  • Own planning logistics, including headcount templates, capacity models, key result tracking, and planning document schedules.
  • Draft and maintain internal documentation, meeting materials, and updates to keep teams aligned.
  • Lead projects end to end, including scoping, stakeholder alignment, execution, and iteration, with support and guidance from the Senior AI Strategy & Ops Manager.
  • Partner with Advisor Success leaders to improve workflows, standard operating procedures, documentation, and enablement for frontline teams.
  • Break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, timelines, and owners.
  • Identify manual, repetitive work and partner with Operations and Engineering to automate or simplify it before adding headcount.
  • Track adoption of new tools and processes and use feedback loops to improve them.
  • Build analyses and simple models for capacity, workload, and return on investment to inform prioritization and resourcing decisions.
  • Maintain core metrics and reporting so teams can track progress and identify risks early.
