About The Position

We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a dynamic and visionary expert for the position of AI Strategy Lead. Our client is an organization where nothing is impossible, and thinking outside the box is an everyday reality. Some AI-based solutions have already been implemented in the company. We are currently looking for a person who will tie these activities into a comprehensive vision, guide the further development of the AI area, and find new applications for this technology in e-commerce, sales, logistics, purchasing, or customer service. This is a 100% strategic and expert role (no direct reports). You will report directly to the VP Ecommerce Director and work closely with the client's internal technological company, acting as a bridge between the world of modern technologies and business.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practice in AI/ML at a strategic level. What matters to us is not only the knowledge of theories and models but also hands-on practice – from working with data, through testing, to real implementations that brought measurable business results (ROI).
• Outstanding ability to translate complex technical concepts into the language of business benefits. You can comfortably converse with the board (C-level) and implementation teams.
• You know the tools and have practical experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs). You know when it's worth using them and when to opt for something simpler and more effective.
• You know the realities of commercial, e-commerce, or service companies. You understand the sector's challenges, logistics and sales processes, and key metrics (e.g., profitability, stock rotation, basket value). Experience in large, complex organizations will be a strong asset.
• You can build authority and manage the work of interdisciplinary project teams without formal direct authority.
• Fluent Polish and English are required (at a level allowing for seamless communication in both speech and writing).
• Readiness for business trips – the position requires frequent meetings and presence in the office in Złotów (near Piła).

Responsibilities

• AI Strategy: You design and implement a comprehensive AI strategy considering technological, organizational, and operational aspects. You define a long-term vision for solutions (some of which are already functioning) and build an implementation roadmap for the next 3–5 years.
• Business Efficiency: You utilize artificial intelligence to generate real performance growth in business units (e-commerce, logistics, purchasing, marketing, customer service).
• Technological Collaboration: You work hand-in-hand with the client's internal tech company, supporting the building of data architecture, MLOps processes, and platforms for training and deploying models across the entire organization.
• Product Innovations (R&D): You develop new products and services. You create Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and MVPs in high-growth potential areas, testing and verifying the effectiveness of solutions.
• Project Management: Despite not having your own team, you act as a project leader – combining IT, analytics, business, and operations competencies from various departments, setting a common direction for them.
• Building AI Culture & Adoption: You build a culture of creative and analytical thinking within the company. You teach the organization and individual teams how to use implemented AI tools on a daily basis.
• Analytics & Consulting: You support the development of advanced data analysis systems (BI) and predictive tools, helping managers make data-driven decisions.
