About The Position

Universal Health Services (UHS), a Fortune 500® corporation and a leading provider of hospital and healthcare services, is seeking a dynamic AI Solution Manager – Revenue Cycle for its Corporate Information Services Department. This role involves broad, domain-level ownership of AI-driven tools and solutions within the Revenue Cycle domain. The Solution Manager will identify high-value opportunities, conceptualize innovative solutions using emerging technologies like AI, and drive measurable operational and financial outcomes. This position requires full lifecycle ownership, acting as a liaison between business, clinical, and technical teams to transform complex challenges into scalable, impactful solutions. Collaboration with engineering, data, and operational stakeholders is key to delivering and optimizing custom-developed capabilities based on real-world performance. Key responsibilities include: Domain Ownership & Strategy: Serving as the accountable leader for the Revenue Cycle domain, developing and maintaining a domain-level roadmap and solution portfolio aligned with enterprise priorities. This includes identifying and prioritizing opportunities with the highest clinical, operational, or financial impact, and staying current on emerging technologies, especially AI, to assess their applicability. Solution Identification & Use Case Development: Translating complex domain problems into clearly defined solution opportunities and AI-enabled use cases, establishing success criteria, value drivers, and measurable outcomes. Evaluating feasibility based on data availability, workflow integration, and technical constraints, and framing solutions as scalable capabilities. AI & Data-Driven Solution Design: Utilizing data literacy and AI fluency to ask pertinent questions of data and models, define meaningful metrics, interpret outputs for decision-making, and understand AI capabilities, limitations, and risks to scope use cases appropriately. Partnering with technical teams to shape architectures. Cross-Functional Orchestration: Acting as the primary interface between clinical and operational leaders, IT and engineering teams, and data/AI resources. Translating domain needs into actionable requirements, aligning stakeholders, and leading discovery sessions and workshops. Value Realization & ROI Accountability: Defining and tracking clinical, operational, and financial value metrics, building business cases, articulating ROI, and monitoring performance post-deployment for sustained value. Solution Lifecycle & Continuous Improvement: Overseeing the solution lifecycle from ideation through deployment and optimization, ensuring effective adoption, workflow integration, and continuous improvement based on feedback and data. Driving iterative enhancement strategies. Change Management & Adoption: Leading domain-level change management efforts, partnering with operational leaders for user adoption and workflow integration, and supporting training and communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with 5-8 years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical, administrative, or revenue cycle workflows within healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operational challenges and inefficiencies, including opportunities for transformation and automation
  • Working knowledge of the solution and product lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and appropriate use cases, particularly in healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of healthcare data concepts and analytics, including how data is structured, measured, and interpreted
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards, interoperability, and information flow (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and how solutions integrate into clinical and operational workflows
  • Knowledge of value drivers in healthcare, including clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance
  • Understanding of ROI frameworks and financial evaluation methods for technology investments
