About The Position

Seeking a Non-Profit Revenue Cycle Manager to manage the daily operation of revenue operations in accordance with Devereux policy. This role leads the utilization review process, month-end revenue verification process, and serves as the liaison between Finance and the Corporate team managing the Electronic Health Record’s financial functions. The position supports the Executive Director and Fiscal Director in maintaining financial accountability, and provides insight to drive financial performance and sustainability. The Revenue Cycle Manager acts as a liaison between the Operations and Finance teams by providing Program Leadership with timely financial information and analytics. This role also serves as a resource/subject matter expert on month end closing, financial planning and analysis, reconciliations, fixed asset record keeping and provides technical guidance. The position prepares bi-weekly financial reports for assigned programs, supervises a small team of Financial professionals, and assures the accuracy of all financial reports prepared for each program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5 years position-related experience in non-profit sector.
  • Must have experience with computer based financial systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).
  • Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license must be maintained.
  • Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or other chemical substances or controlled substances.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operation of revenue operations in accordance with Devereux policy.
  • Leads the utilization review process, month-end revenue verification process, and serves as the liaison between Finance and the Corporate team managing the Electronic Health Record’s financial functions.
  • Supports the Executive Director and Fiscal Director in maintaining financial accountability, and provides insight to drive financial performance and sustainability.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Operations and Finance teams by providing Program Leadership with timely financial information and analytics.
  • Serves as a resource/subject matter expert on month end closing, financial planning and analysis, reconciliations, fixed asset record keeping and provides technical guidance.
  • Prepares bi-weekly financial reports for assigned programs.
  • Supervises a small team of Financial professionals.
  • Assures the accuracy of all financial reports prepared for each program.
  • Leads full revenue cycle (contracts, billing, collections).
  • Partners with EHR and AR teams to streamline processes, track rates, and drive financial performance.
  • Manages revenue-focused projects (rate reviews, payer mix).
  • Drives improvements in key metrics like denials, clean claims, and collections.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations (licensing, CARF, payers).
  • Maintains audit readiness and implements corrective actions.
  • Oversees revenue accuracy and month-end close.
  • Tracks performance metrics (AR, denials, collections) and provides insights for planning and reviews.
  • Maintains required training and ensures adherence to nonprofit billing practices, including grant and sliding fee programs.
