About The Position

PMG is hiring an AI & Software Engineering Lead to help shape the technology powering Alli, its cloud-based suite of AI-powered marketing tools. The role leads engineers working on complex challenges and AI-driven solutions, influences the technical vision and technology stack, and balances innovation with business needs in collaboration with product managers, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams. The position combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, mentoring, and client-facing guidance. The Lead designs, develops, and deploys scalable features and reliable architectures across the Alli applications. The role works with product managers, designers, and other teams to integrate AI solutions that improve performance and business outcomes, while encouraging collaboration, innovation, and engineering best practices. It also provides technical advice and strategic insights to client teams, drawing on media, technology, and emerging trends. Requirements

At least 5 years of software development experience with object-oriented programming and delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions.
At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud platform, including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
Ability to balance hands-on development with mentoring and training other engineers.
Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, or LangChain.
Strong expertise in RESTful API design, system architecture, and SOLID engineering principles.
Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies, including Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), and Go.
Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams and align engineering work with business objectives.

Nice To Haves

Experience in digital marketing or advertising technology and its intersection with engineering solutions.
AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
Prior experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Kafka.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative, scalable features within the Alli suite of applications.
Draft and implement architectural designs for reliable, complex, and highly scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions that improve performance and business outcomes.
Build scalable products that deliver measurable results for clients.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote development best practices, collaboration, and innovation.
Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across the application development lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and provide fellow frontend engineers with feedback to support high-quality, maintainable code.
Pioneer development using technologies that transform the marketing technology space.
Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to client teams, using expertise in media, technology, and emerging trends.
Offer technical advice and strategic insights in client-facing work to help clients achieve their goals.
