About The Position

PMG is seeking an AI & Software Engineering Lead to guide engineers developing AI-driven solutions and scalable features for Alli, PMG’s cloud-based suite of AI-powered marketing tools. The role helps shape Alli’s technology stack and technical vision, balancing innovation with business needs while collaborating with product managers, engineering leaders, designers, clients, and cross-functional teams. The position combines hands-on software development and architecture with mentoring, technical leadership, and client-facing guidance.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software development experience with object-oriented programming and delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions.
At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud platform, including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
Ability to balance hands-on development with mentoring and training other engineers.
Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, or LangChain.
Strong expertise in RESTful API design, system architecture, and SOLID engineering principles.
Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies, including Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), and Go.
Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and scalable application management.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams and align engineering work with business objectives.

AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
Prior experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Kafka.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative, scalable features within the Alli suite of applications.
Draft and implement architectural designs for reliable, complex, and highly scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions that improve performance and business outcomes.
Build scalable products that deliver measurable results for clients.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promote development best practices, and foster collaboration and innovation.
Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to fellow frontend engineers to support high-quality, maintainable code.
Pioneer development using state-of-the-art technologies in the marketing technology space.
Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to client teams, drawing on expertise in media, technology, and emerging trends.
Provide technical advice and strategic insights in client-facing work to help clients achieve their goals.
