Harnham’s Summer Internship Program is an intensive 8-week experience designed to provide hands-on exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of how a high-performing recruitment business operates — from business development and client outreach to candidate sourcing, delivery, and successful placements. This program offers a real-world introduction to sales, consulting, and talent acquisition while working alongside some of Harnham’s top-performing consultants. What You’ll Learn During the program, you will experience the full recruitment process, including: Conducting cold outreach and market research to support business development efforts Learning how consultants build and manage client relationships Understanding client hiring needs and talent market trends Sourcing and identifying high-quality technical candidates Supporting candidate screening and qualification processes Observing and participating in interview coordination and candidate delivery Gaining insight into negotiation, offer management, and placement strategy Seeing the recruitment lifecycle come full-circle from first outreach to successful hire What You'll Do Partner closely with experienced recruiters and top performers Shadow daily activities and learn proven recruitment strategies Assist with candidate sourcing using LinkedIn and internal tools Help maintain and update candidate and client records Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and live recruiting workflows Contribute to ongoing projects supporting client hiring initiatives What We're Looking For Current undergraduate student or recent graduate Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in sales, recruiting, consulting, or business development Competitive, motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable engaging with new people and building relationships What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in a high-growth recruitment environment Direct mentorship from high-performing consultants Exposure to sales strategy, client management, and talent acquisition Professional skill development in communication, negotiation, and market research A strong foundation for careers in recruitment, sales, consulting, or business Why Harnham At Harnham, performance, collaboration, and development are at the core of our culture.
