About The Position

KFS, LLC is seeking a AI Projects & Administrative Intern who will support internal business operations by assisting with administrative tasks, process improvement initiatives, and the development of custom AI-enabled dashboards, tools, and workflows. This role is intended for a motivated intern who is interested in artificial intelligence, business analytics, automation, and practical technology applications within a professional services environment. The intern will work as an indirect support resource and will assist with internal initiatives that improve company efficiency, reporting, document organization, data visibility, and decision-making. Duties may include building dashboards, organizing internal data, testing AI tools, documenting workflows, supporting proposal or project administration, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets, organize data, and follow structured processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new software, AI tools, and business systems.
  • Ability to handle internal company information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage assigned tasks with guidance.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, dashboards, business analytics, or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data visualization, dashboards, or workflow automation is a plus.
  • Experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or similar tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of custom AI dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for internal company use.
  • Support the creation, testing, and refinement of AI-assisted workflows for administrative, business development, project management, and operational functions.
  • Help organize, clean, and structure company data for use in dashboards, AI tools, spreadsheets, and internal reporting systems.
  • Assist with maintaining project trackers, task lists, meeting notes, file structures, and other administrative records.
  • Support document management efforts, including file naming, folder organization, version control, and data entry.
  • Assist with research, analysis, and preparation of internal reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Help identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks using AI tools, spreadsheets, templates, or other software.
  • Support internal training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures related to AI tools and dashboards.
  • Perform quality control reviews of dashboards, spreadsheets, AI outputs, and administrative documents.
  • Support business development, proposal, and project administration tasks as needed.
  • Complete other administrative, operational, or AI-related projects as assigned.
