About The Position

Retensa is seeking an AI Product Intern for Spring/Summer 2027 to support the design, architecture, and deployment of AI software-as-a-service applications, websites, and mobile applications. The internship offers hands-on experience with cross-functional AI technologies and exposure to solutions intended to accelerate sprint velocity. Interns will contribute to product research, requirements gathering, testing, customer support, and Agile product development. The role is remote, with a schedule of 24–32 hours per week across 3–4 days. A stipend of $500–$1,000 is provided upon completion of the internship.

Requirements

• Be a senior or graduate student in Computer Science, CIS, Web Technology, IT, or MIS.
• Have a strict minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Have prior web technology skills of any kind.
• Have experience in at least three of the following areas: AI-assisted development, web app development, application testing/QA, Amazon Cloud (AWS), Agile project management (JIRA), SaaS product support, interactive voice agents, or HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Be proficient in English and have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Be hardworking, enthusiastic, and resourceful.

Nice To Haves

• Automation testing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Specialists with R&D research and feature requirement gathering.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive products.
• Provide testing support in staging and production environments.
• Engage with software users by providing customer support.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA, to ensure the product shipped meets expectations.
