AI Powered Power BI Engineer
About The Position
The AI Powered Power BI Engineer will develop enterprise-scale dashboards and reporting platforms, combining advanced Power BI expertise with practical use of AI technologies in analytics and software development. The role involves building and optimizing Power BI reports, semantic models, dataflows, and integrations with cloud data platforms including AWS, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. It also applies AI capabilities such as Copilot, generative AI, LLM technologies, conversational analytics, and agentic AI concepts to reporting and development workflows. Success will be measured by improvements in report development effort and dashboard delivery time, user adoption and engagement, report quality and accuracy, the share of reporting assets accelerated through AI automation, executive stakeholder satisfaction, and reuse of semantic models and AI-generated accelerators.
Requirements
- 9–10 years of experience.
- 5 years of Power BI development experience.
- 2 years of practical experience leveraging AI technologies in analytics or software development.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale dashboards and reporting platforms.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Advanced Power BI development skills, including advanced DAX and Power Query, semantic modeling, report performance optimization, dataflows, and Fabric.
- Skills in Microsoft Copilot, Power BI Copilot, prompt engineering, generative AI, LLM technologies, AI-assisted software development, conversational analytics, and agentic AI concepts.
- Data integration skills including SQL, Python, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, AWS and Azure analytics services, and API integrations.
- Power BI is listed as a mandatory skill.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Fabric certification.
- Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) certification.

- Experience building AI agents and copilots.
- Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-scale dashboards and reporting platforms.
- Perform advanced Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, report performance optimization, dataflows, and Fabric.
- Leverage AI technologies in analytics and software development, including Copilot, prompt engineering, generative AI, LLM technologies, AI-assisted development, conversational analytics, and agentic AI concepts.
- Integrate data using SQL, Python, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, AWS and Azure analytics services, and APIs.
- Support reporting and analytics outcomes measured by delivery effort and cycle time, adoption, engagement, quality, accuracy, AI automation, stakeholder satisfaction, and reuse of models and accelerators.
