About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation. The Power BI Developer will develop reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards; support embedded analytics and Power BI administration; and work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical documentation and actionable insights. The role requires prior telecom industry experience and may involve connecting to PostgreSQL, AWS, and other telecom-relevant data sources. The position also provides support for Tableau dashboards and visualizations.

The expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $148,500. Final compensation depends on factors including geographic location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience is listed as required; the posting also separately lists 5–8 years of experience.
• Prior experience in the telecom industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, business intelligence, and data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in Power BI report development, paginated reporting with Report Builder, and embedded analytics.
• Skill in DirectQuery connections and designing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Proficiency in complex DAX queries, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with gateways, report scheduling, and On-Premises Data Gateway setup.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI administration, including tenant settings, user access, and Premium configurations.
• Experience connecting to PostgreSQL, AWS, and other telecom-relevant data sources.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Familiarity with Tableau Prep and data blending techniques.
