AI Operations Intern
About The Position
Apprenticely is partnering with Huml Health to find an AI Operations Intern for their team in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is a three-month internship program designed to provide IT experience through mentorship and hands-on work. The internship serves as an entry point to an IT career and may lead to full-time employment based on employer needs. Huml Health is a company focused on improving behavioral health outcomes by using continuous physiological signals to provide clinical intelligence. They have developed a platform that monitors patient data to identify individuals needing attention before a crisis occurs, leveraging the largest multimodal behavioral health dataset in the country. The company is small, revenue-generating, and focused on making a real impact.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas state resident
- Ability to pass a standard background check
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for the three-month internship
- Ability to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship needs
- High curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and growing or starting an IT career
- Technical aptitude exhibited through projects, experience, or online learning
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly
- The instinct to start working when handed an ambiguous problem
- Sufficient organization to manage multiple tasks without dropping them
- Ability to write clearly (emails, briefs, updates)
- Comfort with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic financial logic
- Genuine interest in AI tools and the discipline to learn them
- Low ego regarding assigned tasks
- Judgment to recognize when stuck and honesty to communicate it
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Exposure to healthcare or behavioral health
- Background juggling school, work, and other commitments simultaneously
- Connection to the mission of helping individuals fighting substance use disorder
Responsibilities
- Categorizing finances and building simple budgets
- Drafting outbound sales and partnership emails
- Updating the CRM and keeping the pipeline clean
- Documenting how customer issues get resolved to improve efficiency
- Sitting in on partner and investor calls and writing follow-up notes
- Researching topics and creating concise briefs
- Building marketing assets and maintaining documentation
- Learning and optimizing AI tools for productivity
- Documenting learnings and building repeatable processes for AI tool usage
- Helping the team improve their use of AI tools
