AI-Native ERP Consultant
About The Position
Raiz is seeking an AI-Native ERP Consultant with accounting expertise to help clients modernize finance operations using Rillet, an AI-native ERP. The consultant will build trusted relationships with CFOs and Controllers, lead implementations, and help shape Raiz’s consulting approach and client experience. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, or Chicago, Illinois, with occasional travel to partner hubs. The role offers a defined consulting career path, direct access to senior leadership, and meaningful work as the company grows. Compensation is a base salary plus a performance bonus. The team values strong relationships and collaboration across in-person and remote work, with team offsites.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance, ideally in public audit or assurance, or in industry general ledger, revenue, or consolidations.
- Strong command of US GAAP and the period-end close process.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks, and genuine curiosity about next-generation platforms such as Rillet.
- Ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows.
- Strong communication skills and a client-ready presence, including the ability to engage credibly with Controllers and CFOs.
- Collaborative, self-directed working style; comfortable with autonomy and committed to quality.
Nice To Haves
- Prior client-facing, consulting, or ERP implementation experience.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.
- FP&A exposure.
- CPA credential, active or inactive; not required.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead Rillet implementations from kickoff through go-live.
- Help CFOs and Controllers modernize finance operations with AI.
- Configure solutions that turn complex accounting workflows into simple, scalable systems.
- Contribute to best practices and delivery documentation as Raiz’s consulting playbook evolves.
- Assist with client scoping and sales handoffs while developing knowledge of the full engagement lifecycle.
- Deliver projects on time, maintain client satisfaction, and ensure systems work correctly from the outset.
- Continuously learn new tools, automations, and workflows for modern finance.
