About The Position

ISHIR is hiring a Senior AI Native Developer for a long-term, on-site client engagement in the restaurant technology space, based in Plano, Texas. This hands-on role combines senior engineering execution with client-embedded technical liaison responsibilities, working alongside the client’s CTO and stakeholders and ISHIR’s India-based development team. The role is suited to someone who can navigate ambiguity, turn business requirements into production code, and communicate with executive stakeholders. The developer will serve as the primary on-site technical representative for the engagement, support product discovery and requirements refinement, review architecture, coordinate delivery, and maintain the day-to-day client relationship. The position also involves developing AI-enabled products and features, including work with LLM APIs and full-stack technologies. Requirements

At least 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building AI/ML or LLM-integrated products.
Proven ability to work directly with clients, including comfort in executive meetings and boardroom-level presentations.
Strong full-stack background, including React or an equivalent frontend technology.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI, including prompt engineering, RAG, and tool or function calling.
Solid agile delivery experience, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and coordinating distributed engineering teams.
Must be US-based and able to travel on-site to client locations, primarily in the Dallas, Texas area.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a client-facing technical lead, senior product owner, or solutions architect capacity at a services or consulting firm.
Familiarity with restaurant technology, hospitality SaaS, or B2B platform products.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments; Azure is preferred.
Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.
Anthropic Claude Certified Architect (CCA-F) or equivalent AI platform certification.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-site technical representative for the client engagement and attend stand-ups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder sessions.
Represent ISHIR’s delivery team professionally and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to CTO- and CFO-level stakeholders.
Facilitate on-site product discovery, requirements refinement, and architecture review sessions.
Own the day-to-day client relationship and proactively flag issues before they escalate.
Drive development execution as a senior engineer and translate business requirements into shipped code.
Coordinate agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and work with distributed engineering teams.
