About The Position

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified AI/ML Engineer II to work on a project at the Maxwell-Gunter Annex in Alabama. The role is part of the Program Support Team and requires an active Secret Clearance that the selected candidate must maintain. The position builds scalable data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructure, prepares high-quality datasets, and supports model training and development to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively in writing and verbally, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and be self-motivated and innovative in a fast-paced environment. The stated salary range is $108,000–$120,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
• Active Secret Clearance, which must be maintained.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 Code 623 Intermediate qualification.
• Python-based ML development skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Prepare high-quality datasets and perform data preparation and feature engineering.
• Support model training and development.
• Support predictive maintenance, NLP, anomaly detection, and test-generation use cases.
• Perform model validation.
• Support MLOps and secure cloud deployment.
• Address data provenance, explainability, model documentation, and monitoring.
