About The Position

Everforth ECS is seeking an AI/ML Engineer II to work at its Maxwell-Gunter Annex office in Alabama. The role is part of the Program Support Team and involves building scalable data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructure, preparing high-quality datasets, and supporting model training and development to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.

The position requires effective written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and innovation in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must hold and maintain an active Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
• Active Secret Clearance, which must be maintained.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 Code 623 Intermediate Qualifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and innovative in a fast-paced environment.
• Python-based ML development skills.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Prepare high-quality datasets and perform data preparation and feature engineering.
• Support model training and development.
• Contribute to predictive maintenance, NLP, anomaly detection, and test-generation use cases.
• Perform model validation and support MLOps.
• Support secure cloud deployment.
• Address data provenance, explainability, model documentation, and monitoring.
