About The Position

This role is for an AI & Marketing Automation Manager who will be responsible for bringing AI to life across the entire Marketing organization. The individual will embed within the Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations and partnering with the CMO. The primary goal is to identify opportunities where AI and automation can create value, build the necessary systems, and develop team capabilities to leverage these technologies. This involves deciding what to automate, designing the processes, and enabling marketers to use AI by default. It's described as a builder's role with an enabler's heart, involving prototyping AI workflows and addressing team pain points with AI solutions. The job description emphasizes making the marketing organization AI-first.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in marketing with deep, hands-on knowledge of the modern marketing tool stack
  • Proven track record of building working automations (e.g., n8n, MCPs, GitHub repos, Claude.md)
  • Experience with lightweight scripts or API integrations
  • Strong understanding of customer data, including Braze's consumer event structure, customer journey mapping, event-field mapping, and cross-tool field mapping
  • Ability to validate conversion events across Google, Meta, and TikTok
  • Natural ability to enable others and teach technical concepts clearly
  • Strong product sense and a bias towards shipping solutions
  • Proven ability to operate cross-functionally and build trust
  • Adaptive, fast-learning mindset and coachability

  • Prior growth or lifecycle marketing experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead AI enablement across Marketing
  • Become the go-to person for AI-related inquiries and implementation within the team
  • Coach and upskill marketers on AI and automation usage
  • Run working sessions to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases
  • Champion an experiment-first culture for AI-driven approaches
  • Design and ship AI-powered and automated workflows, including MCPs, GitHub repos, and Claude.md configurations
  • Map customer data across the marketing stack (Braze, data warehouse, ad platforms) for clean information flow
  • Set up, QA, and validate conversion events and tracking across Google, Meta, and TikTok
  • Build integrations between marketing tools to improve team speed
  • Define success metrics tied to PLG outcomes (acquisition, conversion, time-to-value)
  • Report efficiency gains and funnel improvements to marketing leadership
  • Build feedback loops connecting product usage data to campaign targeting
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Growth teams
  • Translate business problems into scalable AI solutions
  • Share learnings to foster AI capability growth across the organization
