About The Position

ThreeTrader is seeking a hands-on AI & Marketing Automation Lead to design, build, and continuously improve the AI and automation systems supporting marketing across acquisition, content production, campaigns, client nurturing, and analytics. By connecting AI with the CRM, advertising platforms, and internal data, the role will reduce repetitive work, improve marketing efficiency, and deliver measurable commercial results. Over time, the Lead will build a scalable, semi-automated marketing function. This is a builder-leader role with ownership of process design, tool selection, delivery, and team enablement. The successful candidate is expected to implement solutions, not just advise. The role works across Marketing, Engineering, and Compliance, including on data access and publishing permissions.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Engineering, CRM, marketing automation, or systems integration.
  • At least 2 years applying generative AI to real business workflows, with live examples available to show.
  • Led at least two cross-system automation projects end to end, including requirements, build, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and the connections among registration, verification, first deposit, activation, and retention.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM, including workflows, properties, segmentation, and event triggers.
  • Fluency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, data mapping, and identity resolution, with the ability to troubleshoot data issues between systems.
  • Ability to write integration logic in Python or JavaScript and use SQL to query and validate data.
  • Experience with at least one automation platform: n8n, Make, or Zapier; sound judgement about when low-code is sufficient and when custom development is needed.
  • Practical experience with generative AI APIs, structured outputs, retrieval over knowledge bases, and output quality evaluation.
  • Ability to design human review, exception handling, and rollback so workflows remain controlled.
  • Focus on business outcomes rather than tool usage or content volume.
  • Ability to work effectively in English with marketing and engineering teams across regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in FX, brokerage, fintech, or another regulated industry.
  • Japanese-market or multilingual marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with ad tracking, web analytics, lifecycle marketing, and attribution.
  • A track record of moving a marketing team from heavy manual work to standardised, automated workflows.
  • Experience managing technical teams or vendors, or leading cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Map existing marketing processes, roles, tools, and data sources to identify high-value automation opportunities.
  • Develop 90-day and 12-month implementation plans prioritised by business value, effort, and risk.
  • Define which tasks AI performs, which require human review, and how exceptions are handled.
  • Build end-to-end AI-powered marketing workflows from briefing and market research through drafting, asset production, review, publishing, and performance review.
  • Support production and iteration of advertising copy, email, landing pages, social content, and Japanese-market content.
  • Create a brand knowledge base, content templates, and quality checks to ensure accurate, on-brand output, and make workflows reusable across the team.
  • Connect HubSpot, the client portal, advertising platforms, website events, and other business data.
  • Optimise client journeys across registration, identity verification, first deposit, activation, retention, and win-back.
  • Protect existing segments, journeys, and historical records when systems or data integrations change.
  • Build reliable automations with deduplication, retries, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Align event definitions, lifecycle stages, and marketing metrics with Marketing and Engineering.
  • Automate channel and campaign reporting, flag data anomalies, and recommend improvements.
  • Enable conversion and customer acquisition cost analysis by channel, campaign, and client segment.
  • Evaluate each automation before and after implementation to demonstrate time savings and business impact.
  • Create playbooks, review standards, and training materials for each role, and help marketers incorporate AI into daily work.
  • Manage tools, vendors, and implementation resources while controlling cost and system complexity.
  • Work with Marketing, Engineering, and Compliance to govern client data access and publishing permissions.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
  • Opportunity to own and shape creative direction in a high-growth market.
  • Collaborative, international team culture with a flat hierarchy.
  • Modern office in Taichung with flexible working arrangements.
  • Professional development budget and access to industry tools and resources.
