About The Position
The Arizona Republic/azcentral.com, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking a Features AI Innovation Intern to join our newsroom. Arizona State University’s Knight Center for the Future of News and The Republic have partnered to offer this internship. This journalist will work to build and experiment with new, AI-backed tools, experiences and offerings for The Republic’s restaurant-obsessed audience. Tasks include research, data preparation, content structuring and product testing in a collaborative environment where learning and growing are prioritized.
Requirements
- Enrolled Arizona State University student in good standing.
- Adhere to ethical guidance on use of artificial intelligence.
- Resume – one page.
- A cover letter that outlines how you would approach the job.
- Links to 3-6 online samples of your work. Show us what you’ve produced or had a hand in that best reflects what you can do in your desired role.
- It is important that these items be assembled into a single document and uploaded in PDF format.
