About The Position

Klarity is a Series B company that has raised $91M and experienced 7x growth last year. We are building AI-native workflows to transform how work happens across teams and applications. Our AI discovers work processes, structures them into a Context Graph, and continuously improves them. Companies like OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Klarity. We moved quickly to ship GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch. We are a fast-paced company that rewards agency and cares deeply about our customers, team, and mission.

Requirements

1-2 years of shipping production code (or exceptional new grads with strong portfolios)
Strong frontend fundamentals with design sensibility
Comfortable with React and have built real projects
Understand the basics of component architecture and care about how things look and feel
Familiar with modern web technologies
Worked with React, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind
Eager to learn best practices and write cleaner code every day
AI-curious and eager to experiment
Hungry to ship quickly and learn from feedback
Willing to make tradeoffs and understand that done is often better than perfect when learning
Detail-oriented and quality-conscious
Collaborative and coachable
Ask good questions, take feedback well, and excited to learn from people with more experience
Comfortable saying "I don't know" and then figuring it out
Energized by hard problems
See challenging UI problems as opportunities to grow
Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude even when things are ambiguous or difficult

Nice To Haves

Excited to learn the nuances of performance optimization and advanced patterns.
May not have mastered React, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind yet, but eager to learn best practices and write cleaner code every day.
Tried tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or v0.dev and see their potential to accelerate work.
Want to build things that feel good to use, even if still learning how to achieve that consistently.

Responsibilities

Build production UI components, integrate with backend APIs, and contribute to features that ship to real users.
Get code reviews and mentorship from senior engineers.
Learn to build scalable front-end systems by working within existing component libraries and patterns.
Contribute new components and learn best practices for state management, API integration, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with designers to implement their vision and with backend engineers to understand technical possibilities.
Learn how to balance technical constraints with user experience goals.
Grow craft rapidly by working directly with senior engineers on real problems.
Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered workflows, enterprise-scale applications, and modern frontend architecture.
