AI Fellow | Healthcare and Biotechnology
About The Position
C10 Labs is seeking an AI Fellow with experience or a strong interest in healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, or therapeutics to support the AI Nexus NYC venture studio. The Fellow will work with founders and the C10 Labs team to research healthcare and life sciences markets, evaluate new venture opportunities, support customer and clinical discovery, and help companies identify potential partners, pilot sites, and commercialization pathways. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in applying artificial intelligence to meaningful challenges across healthcare and the life sciences.
Requirements
- Current graduate student, recent graduate, researcher, clinician, operator, or industry professional.
- Experience or academic exposure in healthcare, biotechnology, biology, medicine, public health, computer science, AI, or a related field.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, data science, or computational methods.
- Strong research, analysis, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate scientific or clinical concepts into practical business opportunities.
- Interest in startups, venture creation, and early-stage company building.
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities
- Research emerging opportunities across healthcare, biotechnology, therapeutics, and life sciences.
- Identify clinical, scientific, operational, and commercial challenges that could be addressed with AI.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery.
- Evaluate startups, founders, technologies, and potential venture concepts.
- Map hospitals, health systems, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and potential pilot partners.
- Identify clinical, scientific, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders.
- Support founders with product positioning, clinical use cases, pilot development, and commercialization.
- Help prepare company profiles, research briefs, presentations, and investor materials.
- Participate in founder meetings, mentor sessions, and program activities.
- Track project milestones, findings, and recommended next steps.
