Requirements

Must be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on machine learning methodologies and applications.
Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, with experience applying them through coursework, projects, research, or prior experience.
Working knowledge of Python and exposure to machine learning or generative AI libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar tools.
Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization using tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib to prepare data sets for model training.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights through machine learning applications.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts and findings to nontechnical audiences and foster collaboration across teams.
A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and staying current on machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to model evaluation, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, large language models, or responsible AI practices through coursework, projects, research, or prior experience is preferred.
Familiarity with big data technologies and platforms such as Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
A GPA of 3.3 or higher is preferred.
