Intern, AI Enablement

ElevateFort Worth, TX

About The Position

The AI Enablement Intern supports the design, build, and deployment of enterprise AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This is a hands-on technical role that contributes across the full agent lifecycle—from initial build and configuration through testing, deployment, and iteration—within a secure enterprise environment. Working alongside experienced engineers and, at times, directly with business partners, the Intern helps turn business needs into working, governed AI agents that improve how the organization gets work done.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/AI, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated project work (academic, hackathon, internship, or personal) that shows the ability to build and ship a working solution—solid project work matters more than years of experience.
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code or agent-building platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), or similar.
  • Foundational programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar).
  • Familiarity with, or strong interest in, generative AI, large language models, prompt design, and conversational/agentic AI.
  • Comfort working with data and APIs and connecting systems together.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across engineering and business teams.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications are a bonus—foundational credentials such as AI-900 (Azure AI Fundamentals) and advanced certifications (e.g., AI-102, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Copilot/agent-focused credentials) are a plus, as is a willingness to earn them.
  • Exposure to collaborative development tools and Agile/DevOps practices (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jira) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and test AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support the full agent lifecycle—design, build, test, deploy, and iterate—in an enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on the AI Enablement team, contributing to shared standards, reusable components, and best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into agent capabilities, conversation flows, and actions.
  • Assist with connecting agents to enterprise data sources, systems, and APIs (e.g., Power Platform connectors, SharePoint, Dataverse).
  • Help test, debug, and validate agent behavior for accuracy, reliability, and responsible-AI and governance standards.
  • Document agent designs, configurations, and processes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos) and contribute ideas in team brainstorming sessions.
  • Perform additional AI Enablement project tasks as assigned.
