About The Position

This is an invitation to join Testudo, a Lloyd's of London Coverholder that is building the risk infrastructure to insure the AI economy. Testudo underwrites generative AI liability insurance, supported by four Lloyd's syndicates, and provides real-time risk monitoring technology. The company aims to enable confident AI and agent deployment. This role is based in New York and is for individuals who can identify and define a role for themselves within the company's mission to insure the AI economy, even if specific positions haven't been formally written yet. The company values proactive individuals who are drawn to novel problems and have a demonstrable track record of building, underwriting, selling, shipping, or modeling relevant solutions.

Requirements

Have a track record that can be pointed to rather than described.
Ability to set one's own work against the mission.
Willingness to work in an office with colleagues at pace.
Ability to be in New York five days a week.
Ability to propose a role and articulate its necessity.
Evidence of building, underwriting, selling, shipping, or modeling relevant solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the AI economy or generative AI liability insurance.
Experience working in a startup environment.
Experience with Lloyd's of London or similar insurance markets.

Responsibilities
