About The Position

Boom is building a suite of rental financial services for renters and property managers, including tenant screening, rent payment reporting, rent reporting-as-a-service, and a number of integrations with the largest property management systems (PMS). Boom serves renters through the Boom App and property managers via the Boom Platform. This posting is for the Boom Talent Network, where interested candidates can apply even if a specific role isn't listed. The company is looking for individuals who want to build functions from scratch, have hands-on experience with AI tools, are comfortable working quickly with minimal management, possess high standards, and have a genuine interest in solving problems for renters.

Requirements

• People who want to build a function from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, with specific examples of automations you’ve built or agents you’ve deployed.
• Comfort working quickly with very few layers of management, and a habit of owning your own numbers.
• High standards, without the politics that tend to come with bigger companies.
• Real interest in the problem of serving renters in the US financial system.

Responsibilities

• Propose a role, including title and team (Engineering, GTM, Operations, or Finance).
• Outline what you would work on in your first 90 days and the metrics you would aim to move.
