About The Position

Entrust is seeking an AI Developer Intern to contribute to real-world artificial intelligence projects. The intern will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for AI solutions, develop and optimize AI applications, and design AI workflows using single-agent and multi-agent architectures. The role also involves backend development, automation, testing, evaluation, documentation, and collaboration with the Solution and UX Architect to deliver user-friendly experiences. The position is hybrid, with three days per week in the office at Entrust's headquarters in Shakopee, Minnesota, or fully remote in Germany, as specified in the job description. The role is intended for a student who will be a junior or senior by December 2025 and is pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Requirements

Be a junior or senior by December 2025.
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Be pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related degree.
Have experience with development frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and Node.js.
Be familiar with how LLMs work, prompt engineering, context engineering, and fine-tuning.
Be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and self-directed.
Have a good understanding of key AI frameworks and the ability to adapt them to business problems.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be a team player who excels in a collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

Completed at least one front-end project using Vue.js or React and can share a demonstration.
Completed at least one smart application project and can share a demonstration.
Familiarity with cloud DevOps, MLOps, or AIOps.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
Develop, deploy, and optimize AI applications by writing scripts and code.
Create backend scripts using GraphQL to support data-driven functionalities.
Write and maintain code to accelerate development and streamline testing processes.
Design AI workflows incorporating single-agent and multi-agent architectures.
Document development work thoroughly to ensure clarity, transparency, and continuity for the team.
Develop automated testing frameworks based on agent vision modules to improve reliability and efficiency.
Design evaluation processes to maintain consistency and meet production-quality standards.
Work with the Solution and UX Architect to deliver intelligent, user-friendly experiences.
