As an AI Deployment Strategist at Zoom, you will be at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and real-world customer impact, leading the deployment of next-generation Virtual Agents powered by LLMs and agentic frameworks. About the Team
The Zoom Virtual Agent team builds state-of-the-art conversational AI solutions designed to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently. We develop the metrics, intelligence, and evaluation systems that drive continuous improvement, drawing on advanced LLMs and applied data science. Our work sits at the core of Zoom’s AI product strategy, and we move with purpose to deliver meaningful impact for customers and the platform alike.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Field Deployment Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Lead, focused on AI/ML or highly technical SaaS products.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying LLM solutions using modern agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
• Deep expertise in voice stacks and TTS integration, with demonstrated skill using prompt engineering to control prosody, tone, and pacing.
• Demonstrated ability to write and manage iterative prompts that guide both generative text logic and speech synthesis quality, including prosody and emotional nuance.
• Solid software development skills in Python for prototyping, API integration, and production deployment, with familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
• Exceptional ability to distill complex AI and engineering concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-step conversational workflows using agentic frameworks, enabling LLM agents to execute complex multi-tool tasks including database checks and transactions.
• Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve optimal performance, low latency, and minimal hallucination in real-time voice conversations.
• Build and deploy custom full-stack Python and JavaScript solutions that connect agent decision-making with customer back-end systems such as CRM, ERP, and knowledge bases.
• Craft and iterate advanced LLM prompts, including chain-of-thought and few-shot techniques, to guide conversation flow, maintain context, and ensure accurate tool use in live voice interactions.
• Engineer TTS components, including ElevenLabs, Azure, and Cartesia, to fine-tune tone, pacing, emphasis, and prosody to match conversation context and brand standards.
• Conduct A/B testing and performance monitoring on TTS output to ensure high acoustic quality, latency compliance, and emotional appropriateness.
• Partner directly with customer engineering and executive teams as an embedded technical expert, mapping complex business goals to agentic AI solutions.
• Own end-to-end production deployments with continuous optimization and performance tuning informed by real-world voice traffic data.
• Translate field challenges, LLM failure modes, and TTS requirements into actionable input for Core Engineering and Product to drive platform innovation.
