About The Position

The AI Deployment Manager is a specialist post-sales enablement role responsible for delivering high-impact enablement and adoption services across OpenAI’s product suite, including ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents. The role designs and delivers enablement experiences that support repeatable adoption, sustained activation, broader and deeper product usage, and measurable business value. It combines product fluency, instructional design, and customer advisory to help audiences from everyday business users to technical practitioners and executive leaders apply OpenAI products effectively in real-world workflows. The role leads live workshops, delivers services, and designs adoption interventions across the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through expansion, optimization, and long-term adoption. It owns outcomes related to activation and sustained usage, supports launches of new product capabilities, and helps customers translate product features into tangible outcomes across teams and business functions. The position is based in San Francisco or New York and follows a hybrid model of three days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is offered to new employees.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in customer-facing, enablement, or instructional roles, engaging C-level, business, and technical audiences in complex enterprise environments.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, particularly the ability to translate AI capabilities into clear, practical value for senior and executive audiences.
Strong product fluency across ChatGPT, Agents, and the broader OpenAI ecosystem, with a practical understanding of applying AI capabilities to real-world workflows and enterprise use cases.
Experience leading workshops and enablement programs, including designing learning journeys, facilitating live sessions, and responding to questions in real time.
Ability to identify patterns across customers and translate them into scalable approaches that improve adoption across the broader customer base.
Ability to connect product capabilities to concrete business outcomes such as productivity gains, operational efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation, or revenue impact.
Comfort adapting quickly to new information, shifting priorities, and real-time questions in live customer environments while maintaining clarity, ownership, and momentum.

Responsibilities

Own enablement for OpenAI products, including ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents, and help define effective patterns for adoption across enterprise business and technical teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert for designated product areas, build deep expertise, support internal enablement, identify emerging customer use cases for new product surfaces, and aggregate customer feedback to inform product development.
Lead customer enablement across the full customer lifecycle, from initial onboarding through expansion, optimization, and long-term adoption.
Design and deliver onboarding sessions, advanced capability trainings, executive briefings, hackathons, and hands-on workshops for senior leaders and working teams.
Drive customer activation, sustained usage, and measurable business value through structured programs that support durable, organization-wide adoption.
Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery Leads to drive adoption across the core product suite.
Develop and refine reusable training assets, playbooks, and best practices based on patterns observed across customers and regions.
Gather feedback from training and enablement engagements, synthesize themes across accounts, and share insights with internal stakeholders to inform product and program improvements.
