About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire an AI Delivery Excellence Manager within our Payables division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Beaverton, OR. This role serves as a key driver of software delivery excellence, helping teams and leaders adopt and continuously improve modern, AI-driven delivery practices. It combines strategic delivery leadership with operational excellence to ensure teams deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to business priorities predictably and efficiently, all while leveraging AI tools. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of DevOps & Technical Support in the Payables division.

Requirements

• 8+ years in agile delivery, engineering operations, or similar roles
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
• Proven track record of improving delivery performance and predictability
• Experience in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
• Experience leading adoption of new technologies, delivery practices, or operating models
• Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, collaboration tools)
• Experience with delivery metrics, reporting, and analytics
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or comparable AI coding, analysis, and delivery-support platforms.
• Understanding of AI-DLC, DevOps, and flow-based delivery models

Responsibilities

• Optimizing the full delivery lifecycle from planning through execution and release
• Driving flow efficiency by identifying and removing bottlenecks across teams and systems
• Shifting teams toward continuous delivery and outcome-based execution
• Balancing speed, quality, and predictability in delivery outcomes.
• Owning delivery predictability and execution health across teams
• Enabling visibility of cross-team dependencies and delivery risks, driving alignment and mitigation across stakeholders
• Maintaining stability of delivery through scope control and disciplined execution
• Driving adoption of AI-driven engineering and delivery practices, helping teams integrate new tools, workflows, and capabilities into day-to-day execution
• Leveraging AI tools and team analytics for planning, forecasting, and delivery tracking
• Identifying risks and opportunities using data-driven insights
• Evaluating and adopting emerging AI capabilities to enhance performance
• Partnering with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to align delivery with strategic objectives
• Collaborating with Product to balance AI-DLC initiatives with operational engineering work
• Communicating progress, risks, and outcomes effectively
• Partnering with leaders and stakeholders to drive adoption of evolving delivery practices and operating models
• Defining, tracking, and reporting on key delivery metrics
• Providing actionable insights to inform decisions
• Monitoring delivery performance and proactively address deviations
• Promoting adherence to quality standards and engineering best practices
• Maintaining consistency of delivery artifacts and processes
• Supporting governance, compliance, and audit readiness where required
• Driving continuous improvement using agile and flow-based principles adapted to AI-driven development
• Leading experiments to improve delivery performance and team effectiveness
• Standardizing best practices across teams while enabling adaptability
• Coaching teams on flow-based delivery principles, AI-driven engineering practices, and continuously evolving ways of working
• Enabling successful adoption of new tools, technologies, and delivery practices through coaching, facilitation, and hands-on support
• Fostering high-performing, accountable, and self-organizing teams
• Promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and ownership
