About The Position

The AI Data Collection Team Leader supports AI data collection operations by troubleshooting VR headsets and gloves, inspecting and monitoring team members’ data collection, and reporting collection status to clients through chat. The role includes traveling to and from collection sites to retrieve SD cards for daily ingestion and transport equipment. The Team Leader must be able to work with minimal to no supervision during overnight work. The team members being led perform data collection in controlled, staged environments such as residential or laboratory spaces. They use wearable technology, including AR/VR headsets and motion capture hardware, to carry out scripted activities and physical tasks. They follow technical guidelines and scenario scripts, check datasets for accuracy, assist with basic equipment maintenance, and comply with site security requirements.

Requirements

Comfort working with computers and AR/VR devices.
Ability to stand, move, and wear equipment for up to 8 hours per shift.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and maintain focus during repetitive task sequences.
Reliable transportation to travel to local facility sites.
Comfort working in diverse, non-traditional work environments.
