About The Position

The Realtor.com® Brand & Creative team is building the AI infrastructure that powers the next generation of consumer and client marketing. This role is not about experimenting; it's about building a full creative operating system that spans audience intelligence, brief development, concepting, production, and performance feedback. The AI Creative Systems Director will own this system, building working AI systems on real deliverables, connecting intelligence to production, and continuously raising the bar for what's possible across every role. The ideal candidate will have an instinct to ship a working proof-of-concept on a real brief immediately, rather than present a deck about theoretical possibilities.

Requirements

  • Builder first mentality with a proven track record of shipping AI creative systems that teams use daily.
  • Experience permanently transforming at least one team's workflow with demonstrable output.
  • Creative team empathy, with experience introducing AI to skeptical or hesitant teams and making AI feel like a superpower.
  • Deep video AI systems fluency, including knowledge of tools, rigorous evaluation, and workflow design for motion designers and video editors.
  • Full tool stack knowledge across research and synthesis, AI-assisted brief development, concepting and copy, image generation, video production, design automation, and workflow integration.
  • Systems thinking approach, designing for the entire creative cycle.
  • Strong creative judgment to differentiate between adequate and high-quality AI output.
  • Performance creative literacy, understanding paid social creative requirements and using performance data to inform creative decisions.
  • 12+ years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AI-powered creative tools in visual design, content generation, web development, or data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the Creative Intelligence Infrastructure, the connective tissue that links audience signals to briefs, AI-assisted brief development, and performance feedback to make campaigns smarter.
  • Partner with the Motion Design team to identify AI opportunities in video storytelling and production, evaluate and standardize tools, and design workflows for AI-assisted video production at velocity.
  • Build the AI layer to accelerate strategy and concepting through AI-synthesized audience research, automated competitive signal surfacing, and multi-model concepting workflows.
  • Partner with designers to build AI infrastructure for scaling their work, including image generation pipelines, Figma template automation, variant production, and format scaling.
  • Evaluate, select, and standardize the team's AI tool stack across all disciplines, owning contracts, onboarding, and deprecation of underperforming tools.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI capabilities, run experiments, and prepare workflows for new AI advancements before they are needed.
