AI Construction Specialist
About The Position
PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is hiring an AI Construction Specialist in Chandler, Arizona. Embedded within operations, this role identifies, evaluates, and advances AI-enabled opportunities to improve productivity, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes. The specialist works with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical AI solutions, support implementation and adoption, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and performance measurement. This is a primarily office-based position in Chandler. The successful candidate is expected to work regularly from the office and collaborate in person with business and operational teams; the position is not remote. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Arizona. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; the position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a related field.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline; equivalent experience is considered.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools, prompt engineering techniques, and low/no-code solutions.
- Construction and/or construction management experience.
- Strong business process mapping, requirements gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities within established timelines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business stakeholders to document requirements and develop AI-enabled solutions aligned with operational needs.
- Lead business process analysis, problem definition, and AI opportunity assessment activities.
- Develop business cases, implementation plans, ROI assessments, and performance measurement strategies for AI initiatives.
- Monitor adoption, usage metrics, and solution performance, recommending improvements and future AI opportunities.
