About The Position

Cogent Analytics is seeking a curious, practical intern to help improve how its teams work through AI and automation. The intern will work on real business problems by understanding existing processes, identifying opportunities, and using AI to build solutions that people can use. The internship requires in-person attendance at the Greensboro, North Carolina office for at least 20 hours per week during regular business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Think through processes, ask good questions, and enjoy figuring things out.
• Be comfortable experimenting with AI tools, learning as you go, and following a project from idea through use.
• Be available to work on-site for a minimum of 20 hours per week during regular business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Coding experience is helpful but optional.
• Students in business, operations, information systems, computer science, or related fields are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to understand their workflows and identify ways to simplify repetitive tasks.
• Use AI to build, test, and launch internal tools and automations.
• Help connect information across systems and improve reporting.
• Gather feedback, check that solutions work, and make improvements.
