About The Position

The AI Application Engineer will innovate, design, and develop products, processes, and solutions through research and development. The role involves turning ideas into viable products or systems by combining creativity, scientific knowledge, and practical technical skills. The engineer identifies customer and market needs, plans and executes experiments, collaborates with cross-functional teams, documents R&D work, uses engineering software to model and improve designs, and stays current with industry standards and technological developments.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.
• A solid foundation in engineering principles and the ability to apply them innovatively.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
• Hands-on experience with process simulations and design experiments.
• Project management abilities from conception to delivery, including time management and prioritization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze customer needs, market trends, and technology advancements to propose new product research and development projects.
• Plan and execute experimental test programs to evaluate materials, processes, and prototype models.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to assess feasibility, cost implications, and market potential of new products.
• Document each phase of the R&D process, recording findings for patent applications and regulatory compliance.
• Use engineering software to simulate, model, and visualize designs, and make improvements based on test results.
• Stay current with industry standards and technological advancements to maintain competitiveness and meet regulatory demands.
