About The Position

The AI and Automation Senior Manager is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives by identifying, designing, and deploying AI, machine learning, and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen service competitiveness across logistics and business operations. This role provides both strategic direction and hands-on technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and high-value automation outcomes.

Requirements

3+ years leading AI/ML/Automation or digital transformation initiatives
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven track record of deploying data-driven solutions into production
Bachelors Degree
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Related Field
10+ Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology
8+ Years of IT or Software Development Experience

Nice To Haves

Experience in logistics, supply chain, automotive, or manufacturing industry
Understanding of MLOps, containerization, and microservices architecture
Master's Degree

Responsibilities

Establish the roadmap for AI and automation aligned with corporate goals
Lead prioritization and execution of transformation initiatives (ML ETA, RPA, Intelligent Ops)
Manage project governance, delivery milestones, risk and change management
Design, architect, and implement AI/ML models and automation workflows
Develop scalable pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment
Ensure interoperability with legacy enterprise systems
Collaborate with business SMEs to define data requirements and improve data integrity
Establish metrics and monitoring dashboards to measure automation outcomes
Lead a team of Machine Learning Engineers / Automation Developers
Develop team capabilities through mentoring, training, and recruitment
Serve as a primary advisor to leadership on emerging technologies
Manage cloud-based AI services (AWS, Azure) and model lifecycle (MLOps)
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies (PII, corporate guidelines)
