About The Position

Phia is seeking a Brand Intelligence & AI Agents Manager to lead and expand brand relationships within its commerce ecosystem. This role involves managing thousands of brand partnerships across fashion, beauty, and home. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement systems, automations, workflows, and communication strategies to efficiently manage these brand relationships at scale. Key tasks include negotiating commission rate increases, identifying growth opportunities, selecting appropriate brands for editorial features, automating reporting, enhancing CRM data quality, and establishing an operational framework to accelerate the partnerships team's efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with editorial, data, and partnerships teams to ensure optimal brand promotion to consumers based on their intent and timing. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about brands, commerce, and fashion, with a strong aptitude for systems building and automation of repetitive tasks.

Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in partnerships, revenue operations, affiliate marketing, AI agents, account management, brand partnerships, e-commerce, media, or a high-growth startup.
  • Excitement for managing thousands of relationships through systems, automation, and leverage.
  • Fluency with AI tools and automation platforms.
  • Comfort using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, Make, Airtable, HubSpot, Notion, Google Sheets, or similar platforms for automation and workflow improvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to advocate for better economics backed by data.
  • Operational sharpness, with a focus on clean systems, accurate data, clear follow-ups, and effective processes.
  • High agency: proactively fixing broken processes rather than waiting for others.
  • Ability to move fast, communicate clearly, and operate independently.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with editorial, data, partnerships, and leadership teams.
  • Genuine excitement about fashion, beauty, commerce, and the future of AI-powered shopping.
  • NYC-based or willing to relocate, and eager to work in-office with a high-velocity team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale a portfolio of thousands of brand relationships across fashion, beauty, and home.
  • Build scalable systems for brand relationship management, including automated reporting, CRM workflows, brand communication templates, performance dashboards, and follow-up systems.
  • Proactively negotiate commission rate increases with brand partners, leveraging performance data and demonstrating Phia's value.
  • Partner with the editorial team to identify brands for key shopping moments, campaigns, and trend-driven editorials.
  • Translate brand priorities, commission rates, merchandising calendars, and performance data into clear internal recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain automations for brand performance tracking, relationship touchpoints, CRM hygiene, campaign sourcing, and partner follow-up.
  • Monitor brand performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities proactively.
  • Source new brands and outbound campaign opportunities for the partnerships team.
  • Foster long-term relationships with strong brand partners through clear communication, prompt action, and consistent value creation.
  • Represent Phia to brand partners with confidence, warmth, urgency, and authority.
