AI Agent Engineer – Marketing

Wispr FlowSan Francisco, CA
Hybrid

About The Position

Wispr Flow is revolutionizing human-computer interaction by creating a voice dictation platform that understands users perfectly and works seamlessly across devices. In 2026, the company is expanding its focus to building native actions through an agentic framework. Wispr Flow is a rapidly growing startup, having achieved over 150% revenue growth quarter-over-quarter for the last four quarters and securing $81 million in funding. The company is composed of AI researchers, designers, growth experts, and engineers dedicated to rethinking interaction from the ground up. They seek high-agency teammates who value open communication, user obsession, attention to detail, spirited debate, truth-seeking, and real-world impact.

Requirements

  • You've built things that real people use every day to be 10x more effective (not just efficient) in their jobs. (Not just experiments / hacked solutions etc - actual working systems that changed how a team operates).
  • You're technical enough to work with APIs, build agents, wire up automations, and debug when things break: Claude, GPT, MCP servers, automation platforms: you're comfortable in all of them.
  • You can query and code, but you're not an engineer who happens to know about marketing; you are making products marketing uses and if they don’t you figure out why.
  • You are a bit obsessive.
  • When you see someone doing something manually that could be automated, it physically bothers you.
  • When you see a workflow that takes three days, you can't stop thinking about how to make it take 30 minutes.
  • You've probably worked at a startup before, or built something of your own.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the highest-leverage workflows across the marketing org: content production, ICP testing, campaign setup, reporting, creative review, partner coordination. Prioritize ruthlessly by business impact.
  • Build AI-powered agents, automations, and tools that permanently transform those workflows. Not just things that work 80% but don’t get used - actual working systems that people use every day.
  • Optimize the marketing engine infrastructure: the automated pipeline that takes an audience segment and generates locally nuanced ads, landing pages, UGC briefs, and creative, ready for human review and one-click publish.
  • Be the forcing function for adoption - if it is new and important, you make sure everyone on the team knows it and can use it.
  • Build evaluation frameworks so we know what's working. Measure time saved, output quality, and throughput.
