About The Position

Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service. This role requires operational skills related to heavy equipment, ensuring professional and quality work is completed on customer fields without damage to equipment or property. The employee will be responsible for the proper care and maintenance of equipment, the ability to correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application, and effective communication skills with managers, coworkers, and customers.

Requirements

• Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides.
• HazMat endorsement on driver’s license if handling such chemicals.
• Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals.
• Operational skills involving hydraulics and air brakes.
• Proficiency with software and GPS mapping systems pertaining to the piece of equipment to be run.
• Ability to diagnose basic issues with the machinery and/or software.
