About The Position

Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, a farmer-owned cooperative serving Missouri agriculture since 1931, is seeking an Agronomy Applicator for their Mayview team. This role involves operating John Deere spray rigs, floater trucks, and anhydrous equipment to apply fertilizers, chemicals, lime, and anhydrous ammonia to customer fields. The position is physically demanding and outdoors, with peak seasons from September to early December and late February to June, characterized by long days and high acreage. Outside of peak seasons, the pace slows, but work is consistently available. The company emphasizes a performance-based compensation structure with overtime and a production bonus.

Requirements

  • Experience operating heavy equipment (tractor, spray rig, truck, or similar).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to calculate chemical mixing ratios accurately.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to perform outdoor physical work.
  • Grit and drive.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement (company willing to work with the right candidate).
