About The Position

InnerPlant is seeking to expand its team of Agronomy Sales Managers to support the rapid growth of its commercial product, CropVoice. The CropVoice platform uses living sensors to detect plant stress before visible symptoms appear, providing farmers and agronomists with timely insights for in-season decision-making. This specific role will be based in and responsible for sales in Northeast Nebraska.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong agronomy background, including working knowledge of crop disease management, fungicide applications, and agronomic decision-making for soybeans and corn.
  • Experience in ag sales, ag retail, or a customer-facing agronomy role.
  • Proven ability, or clear demonstrated drive, to prospect, cold call, and build a book of business from scratch for both channel partners and farmers.
  • Ability to work outdoors in summer field conditions for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive farmer enrollment in CropVoice by educating and generating excitement about the product with farmers, retailers, and seed dealers, and closing sales.
  • Leverage existing network to increase awareness of CropVoice and drive sales.
  • Explain the benefits of CropVoice using a strong agronomic background, focusing on practical and value-driven aspects for farmers and agronomists.
  • Support local field operations, including plot network setup and scouting.
