Requirements
- Have a foundation in agriculture with the ability to learn quickly on the job
- Proven experience working under little supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong maturity demonstrating excellent decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Learn crop scouting strategies from an experienced agronomy professional
- Observe crop condition, pest concerns in contracted acres using crop scouting and integrated pest management strategies
- Utilize GPS while scouting
- Will walk fields to get the best sample of crop condition
- Write reports on every field scouted and present reports to assigned customer / crops specialist and precision farming coordinator
- Will operate a company vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner
- Assist location team members as assigned
