About The Position
Wyffels Hybrids is seeking an Agronomy Intern to join their Product and Agronomy team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning and implementing agronomic experiments, maintaining demonstration sites, assisting with training events, participating in customer service calls, and completing a self-designed project. The intern will work closely with a mentor to provide valuable agronomic information to customers and contribute to the company's mission of cultivating futures. Requirements
- Undergraduate Sophomore or Junior student majoring in Agronomy or a related field.
- Previous experience in agriculture, sales, research, or farming.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Knowledge in field crop production and agronomy.
- Proficiency in computer technology.
- Experience or confidence in operating basic agricultural equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Uncompromising integrity and honesty.
- Responsible driving record.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement agronomic experiments.
- Maintain product and agronomy demonstration sites.
- Assist with agronomy training events.
- Participate in customer service calls alongside the Agronomy Manager.
- Design and conduct a self-designed intern project and present it at the conclusion of the internship.
