Agronomist
About The Position
Living Sky Co-op is hiring an Agronomist at our Crop Inputs location in Corning, Saskatchewan. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. The Agronomist will be responsible for consulting with and providing agronomic support, services, leading knowledge and appropriate recommendations to our valued growers and customers in of our Co-op. The successful candidate will work closely with the Agro Team to ensure that the business operates sustainably while actively seeking out sales and growth opportunities. Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Intuitive understanding of farm business management
- Strong agricultural background in sales, accounts management, and agronomy
- Sound knowledge of new technology developments in the industry
- Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certifications (CCA, PAg) or working towards is an asset
Responsibilities
