Join our team and see how Co-op does business differently! At Gardenland Co‑op, you’re part of a community‑driven cooperative rooted in the Pembina Valley—where success is shared with the very people who call this place home. Powered by local ownership, local decision‑making, and local impact, your work here goes beyond a job. It’s a career with purpose, and a place to truly belong. This Sales Agronomist position is an entry-level developmental role designed to build the technical, sales, and customer relationship skills required to progress into a fully independent Sales Agronomist position. Working under the guidance and mentorship of experienced agronomy professionals, the Agronomist will gain hands-on experience in agronomic services, customer contact and support, crop planning, and agricultural input sales. This role provides opportunities to develop agronomic knowledge, strengthen industry relationships, and build the confidence necessary to manage customer accounts and business opportunities independently. The Sales Agronomist will be responsible to initiate new customer contacts and maintain current customers. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular in-person interaction is a key component of this role. The Agronomist also provides operational support during the growing season, as required. All ag staff at Gardenland Co-op are expected to embody the Co-op Brand and foster positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with both colleagues and customers.
