About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. The role is located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. The Agile Scrum Master is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of material changes for complex projects involving multiple departments within a single business unit. This position facilitates Agile methodology and activities, and manages, leads, and directs the work efforts of project team members. The Scrum Master ensures the integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution.

Requirements

Experience as an Agile Scrum Master
Familiarity with Agile Developer roles and Extreme Programming practices

Responsibilities

End-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments within a single business unit
Facilitate the Agile methodology and activities, manage, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team
End-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution
Manage Project Scope
Lead the daily SCRUM meetings of the Agile project team and partners with the product owner to lead the team
Remove impediments to the ability of the team to deliver and is keenly focused on the activities and progress of the Agile project team
Manage timeline and budget/expenses
Obtain and align resources to key project roles
Establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities
Oversee/manage/lead project execution, integration and implementation
Risk Management and Mitigation Planning
Readiness/Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management
Quality Assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied
Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project
