About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract role where the Scrum Master will serve multiple teams within a technology release train. The position requires leading and coordinating agile ceremonies, managing inter-team dependencies, facilitating communication, and ensuring adherence to enterprise change management standards. A strong technical background and the ability to drive delivery in a fast-paced environment are crucial.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a technical service delivery role supporting programs/projects
  • Proficient in Lean and/or SAFe agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in using Jira for agile project delivery
  • Strong Scrum Master and Project Management skills with the ability to lead a team and drive results
  • Knowledge of software development and testing
  • Ability to comply with enterprise standards for change management
  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables and escalate issues to senior leaders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of enterprise change management standards
  • Knowledge of AML and CDD processes and functions
  • Proficient in enterprise tools for release and change management
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Industry Certifications in PMP or SAFe

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Scrum Master for multiple teams on a release train
  • Lead and coordinate agile ceremonies and other routines to support the team's delivery
  • Manage coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple scrum teams and with partner systems
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to support deliverable completion and timelines
  • Provide status updates to leadership regarding delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Work with product owners, development and test leads to coordinate release delivery
  • Support resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensure adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards and compliance in agile tools
  • Demonstrate leadership as a self-starter with a focus on execution and commitment to dates
  • Manage risk and demonstrate ownership and accountability
