Agile Scrum Lead

ADTIrving, TX

About The Position

We are looking for a servant-leader and delivery facilitator to enable a Salesforce Product POD operating in a Product-Oriented Delivery model. This role partners closely with Product Management, Product Ownership, Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and business stakeholders to help the POD own delivery from intake and discovery through production release and measurable outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise environment, strengthens team autonomy and accountability, removes delivery friction, and uses data to improve flow, predictability, quality, and customer value.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile, product, technology, or enterprise delivery environments.
  • 5+ years in a Scrum Lead, Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Product Delivery, or comparable team-enablement role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile values and principles, product-oriented delivery, flow-based delivery, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience partnering directly with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, and cross-functional technology teams.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira, delivery dashboards, flow metrics, capacity planning, dependency management, and delivery forecasting.
  • Ability using capacity, risk, value, and delivery data.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum Master, SAFe, Product, Kanban, or Agile coaching certification.
  • Experience supporting a transition from project/program or ART-based delivery to a Product-Oriented Delivery model.
  • Experience in enterprise product operating models, cross-POD coordination, and decentralized delivery governance.
  • Exposure to DevOps, release management, production support, and environment coordination.
  • Experience with Salesforce platforms such as CPQ, Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC), and Salesforce Field Service / SFM is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the delivery lead and servant leader for a cross-functional Salesforce Product POD.
  • Create the conditions for Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and DevOps to operate as one outcome-focused team.
  • Protect committed work from unnecessary disruption while enabling intentional reprioritization when product or customer needs change.
  • Drive accountability for commitments, delivery dates, risks, dependencies, and completion of work.
  • Facilitate the POD’s delivery cadence, including planning, backlog refinement, daily coordination, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other working sessions needed to move outcomes forward.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners on backlog readiness, prioritization, sequencing, acceptance criteria, demo readiness, and release planning.
  • Maintain clear Definition of Ready and Definition of Done expectations and reinforce agreed engineering and delivery standards.
  • Adapt Agile practices to the needs of the Product POD rather than relying on program-level ceremonies as the primary operating mechanism.
  • Facilitate release readiness and production coordination for POD deliverables, including release bridge support when required.
  • Monitor progress against product roadmap commitments, iteration goals, release milestones, and measurable product outcomes.
  • Use flow and delivery metrics such as throughput, cycle time, lead time, work in progress, capacity, aging work, predictability, and planned-versus-delivered value to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain Jira dashboards and strong backlog, feature, story, dependency, and release hygiene.
  • Surface and remove impediments quickly; escalate systemic blockers using data and clear business impact.
  • Coordinate dependencies and integration points across Product PODs and shared enterprise teams.
  • Partner with DevOps and Configuration Management to resolve environment, deployment, and release constraints.
  • Work day-to-day with Product Directors, Product Managers, and Product Owners to translate product priorities into executable delivery plans.
  • Provide transparent delivery health, risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, capacity insights, and forecast information to support product decisions.
  • Facilitate alignment between business outcomes, product priorities, technical delivery, and release readiness.
  • Help the POD make data-informed tradeoffs and protect focus when demand exceeds available capacity.
  • Foster a culture of shared ownership, collaboration, psychological safety, accountability, and high engagement.
  • Coach the POD toward greater self-management and reduce dependency on centralized delivery coordination.
  • Use retrospectives, delivery data, stakeholder feedback, and production outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote learning, experimentation, quality, and customer-focused decision making across the POD.
