About The Position

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Agile Product Management Senior Advisor for the Morris Plains, NJ location to define and execute product vision, roadmap, and goals for enterprise financial reporting tools, aligning with strategic business objectives and improving data transparency across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with: Leading and delivering business-critical software projects for credit processing systems and software applications in the financial industry, including developing software product objectives and launch plans;
  • Conducting in-depth user research and testing activities, refining and integrating design improvements based on feedback from stakeholders and cross-functional teams;
  • Interfacing between the business and cross-functional teams to orchestrate seamless collaboration across diverse technology stacks;
  • Working with complex algorithms and large, diverse datasets while contributing to system integration initiatives across multiple data sources and enterprise platforms;
  • Tracking project schedules and product KPIs;
  • Coordinating software design, development, implementation, and delivery schedules;
  • Preparing design and solution documentation for the software implementations;
  • Creating design (HLD) architecture for Applications/Feature/Business Components/Data Models;
  • Providing application support and maintaining/improving the performance of existing software;
  • Using: Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Microsoft SQL, PowerBI platform, JIRA for Product/Project Management, Lucidchart for architecture and process flow diagrams, Microsoft Technology Stack, SOAP and REST API development and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable product backlogs and user stories, ensuring high-quality deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and other product workstreams to deliver scalable reporting solutions using analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Lead backlog grooming, story refinement, and feature prioritization processes to drive timely and effective releases, while supporting Agile practices and ceremonies.
  • Create, evolve and communicate feature area specifications that form cohesive, iterative plans that align to the multi release vision.
  • Write Definition of Ready user stories and maintain groomed backlog for business stakeholder priorities, and incorporate architectural changes recommended by engineering into user stories.
  • Proactively resolve upstream dependencies and resolve conflict effectively across teams.
  • Conduct data investigations to validate financial and operational reporting accuracy.
  • Advocate for process improvements through an understanding of the engineering lifecycle and previous experience.
