About The Position

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for writing Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies, building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects, implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab, and GitOps, and agile development and delivery of software. Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years

Nice To Haves

• Java, Spring Boot, or Python
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab & GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker
• Database: NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema design
• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber
