About The Position

Dynanet Corporation is seeking an Agile Coach/Scrum Master to facilitate agile methodologies and scrum framework implementation for complex technology projects. This role focuses exclusively on coaching teams, facilitating scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and driving agile transformation within federal technology environments. The position is full-time and located in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes required onsite presence during core federal hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM ET) and additional onsite coverage as mission dictates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7+ years hands-on experience as Scrum Master in complex technology environments
  • 3+ years experience in federal government or federal contracting environments
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills
  • Experience with agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
  • Understanding of federal compliance requirements and how to adapt agile practices accordingly
  • Possess Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize, balance, and effectively advance multiple competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact in a professional and collaborative manner with fellow Dynanet Teammates and the clients, and business partners that we work with.
  • Ability and desire to challenge and educate yourself to support and advance IT services delivery in the Federal agencies we serve.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Respond to team member and client requests via email, MS teams, or other communication means during core business hours.
  • Active listening skills to understand clients' needs, and collaboration skills to work with other developers and designers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum 7+ years of agile coaching and scrum master experience in complex technology environments
  • Federal Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience working in federal government or federal contracting environments
  • Scrum Master Experience: Minimum 4+ years serving as Scrum Master for software development or technology implementation teams
  • Coaching Experience: Minimum 2+ years providing agile coaching and training to teams and organizations
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent agile certification required
  • Team Size Experience: Experience coaching teams of 10+ members across multiple concurrent projects

Nice To Haves

  • SAFe, LeSS, or other scaled agile framework certifications
  • Experience with agile transformation initiatives in large organizations
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration
  • Advanced agile coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, CTC, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Remove blockers and impediments that prevent teams from achieving sprint goals
  • Ensure adherence to scrum framework while adapting to federal compliance requirements
  • Support teams in achieving sprint velocity improvements and cycle time reductions
  • Maintain and update scrum artifacts (product backlog, sprint backlog, burndown charts)
  • Coach teams on agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Deliver agile coaching sessions (historical volume: 72 sessions serving 567+ participants annually)
  • Provide agile coaching support through ticketing system (approximately 198 requests annually)
  • Mentor development teams on agile transformation from traditional methodologies
  • Support organizational change management during agile adoption
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technology teams and customers
  • Lead agile ceremonies and ensure productive team interactions
  • Foster self-organizing, high-performing team dynamics
  • Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops
  • Support conflict resolution and team communication challenges
  • Identify and implement process improvements based on team retrospectives
  • Track and report on agile maturity metrics (sprint velocity, cycle time, delivery predictability)
  • Implement continuous improvement processes based on lessons learned
  • Support achievement of velocity increases and cycle time reductions
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams
  • Develop and deliver agile training materials and workshops
  • Conduct agile methodology training for federal staff and contractors
  • Create documentation for agile processes adapted to federal requirements
  • Support team skill development in agile practices and tools
